So you think you are some hot archer? You can hit a paper target that doesn't move? Or maybe you're a hunter, shooting some unsuspecting deer?

Combat Archery is the next step beyond all of those. It is just what the name says, archery in the combat. You are hunting other fighters who don't want to die, and are constantly moving and defending themselves, and the enemy's archers are hunting you at the same time.

As we don't actually kill people, the arrows we use have very large rubber blunts on them which are shot from bows or crossbows with a limited draw weight. When in armour (which is required) they provide a noticeable thump, but even if they hit bare skin they don't hit all that hard (about the same as a paintball).
